Ways to identify a suspected dogfight.

    If you see/hear:

  •     Excessive barking and/or loud music playing throughout the night.
  •     Signs of dog training equipment (treadmills, jennies, chains/weights, etc.)
  •     Excessive scars or untreated wounds on a dog.
  •     Ownership of several dogs confined to a small space.
  •     Missing animals in the community.
  •     Aggressive, wandering dogs.
  •     An increase in gang activity.

To stop the cruelty in neighborhoods or wherever dog fighting is suspected, donations towards animal rights organizations like PETA (https://www.peta.org/), The Humane Society of the United States (https://www.humanesociety.org), and ASPCA (https://www.aspca.org/) can help the global and national fight against domestic animal abuse.

The creator of Survive the Fight came up with a creative way of her own to stop dog fighting. Below are images showing a handful of the embroidered and sewed key chains that she sold around her school and community for three dollars each. The profits that she received were then donated to the Human Society of Charlotte to stop animal cruelty and improve the lives of animals in her local area.

(S.T.F. stands for Survive The Fight.)
